Attention Dog Owners:

Dog licenses are due by January 1st each year. A $25.00 late fee will be charged beginning February 1st for all unlicensed dogs. Bring spay/neutering certificate if you are licensing your dog for the first time; current rabies certificate is required. Fees: $6.00 for spayed/neutered dog; $11.00 for all others. 

– WANTED – Christmas Kitty Donations

The Dixfield Town Office is once again accepting donations for our local cat whisperers, Brenda Jarvis and Caddie Smith. Items needed are:

  • canned food
  • dry food
  • kitty litter
  • kitty treats
  • and monetary donations

Your donations make a huge difference in the lives of the many kitties in Dixfield that need your help. You can drop off your items at the Dixfield Town Office any time from now until Christmas—or mail to Town of Dixfield, PO Box 808, Dixfield, ME 04224-0808. We appreciate all donations, large or small.

Helping the Elderly Pet Owner

Fundraising projects will be held throughout the area to help with the various needs of animals in the greater River Valley area. If you would like to join this budding new group to help all animals, please contact Becky McDonald at 597-2323 or Brenda Jarvis at 562-7316. Your help, time, money and compassion are needed to meet the many challenges that face some of our furry friends through abandonment, abuse, or sometimes relocation. Won’t you help today?
