Property Taxes
Property taxes are due September 15th and April 15th each year. Interest begins September 16th and April 16th at the rate of 6%. The Town of Dixfield accepts postmarks as payment date. All tax bills will be mailed each year to the owner of record as of April 1st. Dixfield’s percentage of Fair Market Value was set at 100% by the State of Maine.
Dixfield Town Office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for all transactions. There is a third party charge of 2.5% for all credit card transactions.
